Motoziel-Edelweiss, the new player in the field of organised motorcycle road trips is said to organise an interesting ride. With the Himalayas right next door, folks in Delhi have a wonderful opportunity to escape from the mundane city life. Set to be organised from September 2 to September 4, 2016, this three-day ride will see you go reach the charming town of Mukteshwar.
Situated at an altitude of 2,286 m in Kumaon, Uttarakhand, the small town in the lap of Himalayas is one of the most beautiful places in the region. Immortalised by Jim Corbett in his book ‘Man Eaters of Kumaon’, it is one of the best places to ride a motorcycle. The choice of motorcycle for this ride is the Ducati Icon.
The first day will take the riders through dense forests of Mukteshwar. The following day includes a visit at Jade Lake, Sat tal, which is a silent, private, deep green lake, lying silently, surrounded by a dense forest rich in flora and fauna. Motoziel-Edelweiss will be taking care of accommodation, food and beverages. Charges for the trip is Rs 35,000 (excludes the cost of fuel). Also included are bonfires and nature walks. All this at just a day’s ride away from the NCR.
