Mahindra Increases Price of Mojo by Rs 5,000: Latest Prices Inside

You are reading this first on BikeAdvice.

Availability still limited to four cities

Mahindra Mojo is a delightful offering. Targeted as a tourer, the bike was launched on 15th October 2015 at an interesting price tag of Rs 1.58 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi. Mahindra, however, cleared that these introductory prices are valid only till Diwali and now that the festival is over, there has been a minor hike of Rs 5000 on the ex-showroom price of the motorcycle.

Mojo is now available at Rs 1,63,000 ex-showroom in Delhi. The 295 cc single cylinder liquid cooled fuel injected mill produces 27 bhp of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm of peak torque at 5,500. It has a dry weight of 165 kg and the touring credentials are complemented by a large 21 litre fuel tank.

Comfortable seating posture, premium Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 tyres, upside down forks and a refined torquey engine are major traits of Mojo. The availability of the bike though is still limited to the four cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune. The company is also planning to launch an ABS version of Mojo in the near future.

Mojo New Prices

Apart from Delhi, here are the new prices of Mojo in the other three cities.

  • Mojo in Pune: Rs 1,65,500
  • Mojo in Bengaluru: Rs 1,68,500
  • Mojo in Mumbai: Rs 1,65,500

*all prices ex-showroom

Even after this hike, Mojo remains a wonderful package, however, we fail to understand how much will these 5K add to Mahindra’s piggy bank. Considering an average of 100 unit sales per month, Mahindra will barely earn about Rs 5 Lakhs with this hike which is nothing for such a massive conglomerate. Anyways, this is how it is and you will have to shell out approximately 6-7k more on the total on road price of Mojo.
