Mahindra Centuro Rockstar Launched at Rs 43,684: Features & All Details

Mahindra Two Wheelers today officially launched the cheapest variant of its Centuro lineup – the Centuro Rockstar. We had already informed our readers when the bike was launched in select states in the beginning of this month but it’s from today onwards that bike should be available at all Mahindra two wheeler dealerships.

According to the press release we have received, the bike comes in “bold Rockstar graphics”, though we’ll let the buyer decide if those stickers are eponymous or not.

Still, let’s not take away the fact there indeed is a ‘star’ printed on the sides of the tank, and I believe that the flash would work well keeping in mind the target audience. The bike is being offered in two colours – ‘Blazing Black’ and ‘Heavy Metallic Red’ – while the stickers are laid on in a combination of bright red, black and gold.

Centuro Rockstar Features & Misses:

The Centuro Rockstar sits below the N1 and O1 variants of Centuro, which are the mid and top variants, respectively (now). Therefore, while the comprehensive digital instrument panel was axed in the N1, the Rockstar also doesn’t get that dash along with a few more features like the anti-theft alarm, remote functions on the key fob, the LED torch in it, etc.

It still gets the flip-key, six Pilot LEDs, LED brake light, aircraft style fuel cap, pass switch, alloy wheels, electric-start and a maintenance-free VRLA battery.

Mechanically, there are no changes at all and the bike sports the same MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited-5 Curve) 110cc engine that puts out 8.5 bhp at 7,500 rpm and Mahindra claims that the MCi-5 technology and the patented lubrication system of the Centuro Rockstar not only ensure a longer engine life but also deliver an ARAI fuel efficiency figure of 85.4 km/l. Also, like the other Centuro variants, the Rockstar also comes with Mahindra’s five-year warranty as standard.

Centuro Rockstar Price:

The stripped out version will cost you INR 43,684 ex-showroom in Delhi which makes it one real interesting deal among all the 110cc motorcycles available for sale in India right now!
