Fancy buying a new automatic scooter this festive season? Something in the 110cc segment? Get ready to be spoiled by more choices. Mahindra’s upcoming 110cc scooter Zesto (codenamed G101) was recently spied by a reader of Rushlane.com during an advertisement shoot in Mumbai. This just hints that the company is ready to launch the scooter and it will reach your local dealerships very soon.
While the 110cc segment is ruled by the king of scooters, Honda Activa, Mahindra intends to add to the competition tally the new Zesto in addition to its 125cc Scooter trio of Duro, Rodeo and Flyte.
It appears that this will be promoted as a unisex scooter going by the ‘big’ built of scoot. There are a few bits which appear to be inspired from the Kinetic Italiano Blaze, the 165cc beast of a scooter. From whatever is visible, the seating posture is upright, seat appears wide and the rear signal lights are arranged in an innovative rectangular fashion. The instrumentation cluster outline appears to be too bright in one of the pics it is partially visible in.
The spied scooter, surprisingly sports no logos. The Zesto will pick up the challenge against Suzuki’s latest Let’s, Yamaha Ray twins and Alpha, Hero Maestro and a few others in the competitive 110cc segment. Launch is expected very soon. Meanwhile, we are also eagerly awaiting the launch of 300cc Mahindra Mojo.
