EICMA 2021: Smallest Leoncino 125 Unveiled

Leoncino 125 launch in India is not expected since it will be a very costly offering. However, internationally it will be available from next year…

At the EICMA 2021, Benelli has officially unveiled the new Leoncino 125 for the market. It is the smallest scrambler in the Benelli family and sits below the Leoncino 250.

The baby Leoncino is powered by a single cylinder, 125cc liquid cooled, four valve engine that churns 12.8 bhp of peak power at 9500 rpm and 10 Nm of peak torque at 8500 rpm. The fuel injected motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The high-spec Leoncino carries over the same styling of its elder siblings. It is equipped with 35 mm upside down front forks and a rear monoshock.

For the international markets, the Leoncino 125 will hit dealerships in spring 2022.

The Leoncino 250 was on sale in India, however, it has now been discontinued. The bigger 500 is here though, in the BS6 era. However, considering the specs and the possible placement, there are very less chances of the baby Leoncino hitting our Indian shores.
