Marking the first anniversary of Hyosung owners club, HY Riders, DSK Hyosung launched a special edition of their quarter liter monster, GT250R which is called as Signature Edition GT250 R LE.
As you can already make out, the most striking feature of the limited edition 250cc is the striking Hurricane Yellow color. DSK has also informed that only 50 units of this special model will be manufactured and will be made available for sale.
The motorcycle was unveiled by DSK Motowheels Chairman Shirish Kulkarni. Apart from the sporty and bright graphics, every single unit of this limited edition GT250R will bear signatures of their owners. This bike will also carry exclusive branded merchandise.
The Signature Edition GT250R will be made available on demand across DSK dealerships in India. It is priced at a premium of Rs 22,000 over the regular variant and will retail for Rs 2.97 Lakh ex-showroom Pune.
GT250R Signature Edition continues to be powered by the same 250cc v-twin motor which produces 27.6bhp of power output and 22.07Nm and has a claimed top speed of 140kmph. GT250R is truely massive for its size and comes with interesting features like dual disc front brakes, twin projector headlamps among others.
DSK Hyosung is also getting ready to add a couple of more 250ccs to their stables. The first one is the GV250 cruiser which is reportedly coming to us in February 2014 and the more interesting is the naked single cylinder more powerful GD250N which will compete against the Dukes and will be launched in April 2014.
