Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro price is higher than rivals but it offers a lot at that range; comes in two colours…
Few days after it introduced the Hypermotard 950 in India, Ducati has launched yet another exciting motorcycle – Multistrada 1260 Enduro. Multistrada 1260 Enduro is the company’s flagship adventure tourer and is the most off-road oriented version in the Multistrada family.
The 1260 is powered by 1262 cc Ducati Testastretta DVT engine which can pump out 158 PS of peak power and 128 Nm of max torque. Ducati says that 85 percent of this torque is available under 3500 rpm and is 17 percent higher at 5500 rpm when compared with the torque curve of the previous model. This, it claims, makes it the motorcycle with the highest torque at 4000 rpm (the most widely used rev band) in the segment.
In terms of features, it is equipped with Ducati Quick Shift, 6-axis Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Cornering ABS by Bosch, Ducati Cornering lights, Vehicle Hold Control and Ducati Wheelie Control. It also has a 5 inch TFT colour screen which can be connected to the rider’s smartphone via Bluetooth.
It has a massive 30 liter fuel tank and Ducati claims a range of 450 km, inferring a fuel efficiency of 15 kpl. The ADV also comes with very long service intervals – engine oil change is required only after 15,000 km whereas the Desmo service is recommended at every 30,000 km.
