So, the Jawa 42 has gone rebellious and has taken a Bobber avatar. Now a new face of Jawa 42 has entered the Indian motorcycle market in the Shape of – 2022 Jawa 42 Bobber.
The new 42 Bobber is the second Bobber model in the Jawa lineup. It appears to have taken a lot of inspiration from the Perak model, but exudes its own rebellious side.
2022 Jawa 42 Bobber – Colours & Price
The new Jawa 43 Bobber has been introduced with 3 equally unique & eye-catching colour schemes as the design of the new Bobber.
The 42 Bobber comes in 3 colour schemes – Mystic Copper, Moonstone White & Japer Red (dual tone). All these colours carry their own pricing, and range from Rs. 2,06,500/- for Mystic Copper to Rs. 2,09,187/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Japer Red (dual tone) colour scheme.
The new Jawa 43 Bobber slots itself below the Perak bobber sibling and costs nearly Rs. 2,687/- less in its base trim.

2022 Jawa 42 Bobber – Highlights & Features
- Looking at the 43 Bobber, it is very easy to see that the new bike has more modern aesthetics than the Perak bobber design.
- The front is sporting a new design with a distinct headlight unit.
- The fuel tank is tear-drop-shaped and of the same colour as the side panels.
- One of the unique features of the new bobber design is the single-piece seat that appears to be floating in the air – with the springs hidden neatly within the chassis.
- The whole exhaust unit appears to be designed specifically to match the new aesthetics of the bobber.
- The LCD instrumentation appears to be new, and very similar to units seen on the Yezdi Scrambler & Roadster models.
- It gets an all-LED lighting setup to add to the premium feel of the bobber.
- Beating at the heart of the new Jawa 42 Bobber is the staple 334 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 30 HP and 32.74 Nm of torque.
- The power is put down through a 6-speed transmission system.
- The suspension setup appears to be the same as the Perak bobber sibling – consisting of Telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear.
- The company says that the ergonomics have been revised with repositioned footpegs which as a result changes the riding position of the rider.
- The braking is handled by a single-disc system at both ends aided by dual-channel ABS.
