Ola S1 & S1 Pro purchase window open only till Holi with special colour added… S1 Pro price hike hinted for next purchase window…
Once again taking to twitter, Mr. Bhavish Aggarwal (CEO and Founder, Ola Electric) announced various new developments regarding the company’s S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters.
In first announcement, he notified the prospective buyers about the reopening of the latest purchasing window for their electric scooters. He also informed them about a special ‘Gerua’ colour option, exclusively for the S1 Pro model, which will only be available till the day of Holi festival i.e. 18th of March.
Secondly, Mr. Aggarwal shared that the latest purchase window of 17th and 18th of March will be the only time where the buyers can get the S1 Pro model at Rs. 1,29,999/- (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). He explained that for the next payment window, the prospective buyers will have to pay more as they are going to increase the price of their flagship electric scooter.
Finally, he shared the timeline of the latest Over The Air (OTA) update full of much awaited features coming to the S1 and S1 Pro e-scooters. The latest update will be called ‘Move OS 2.0’ and the scooters will start receiving them by the end of April.

The MoveOS 2.0 will bring the promised features like Cruise control, Navigation, Companion app, Bluetooth connectivity and some performance improvements.
Just to refresh the memory, these features were promised to come with the scooter at the time of launch itself. The features are delayed by nearly four months at this point of time.
Till 18th of March, the Ola S1 is priced at Rs. 99,999/- while the flagship model S1 Pro is priced at Rs. 1,29,999/- (ex-showroom, Bengaluru, including FAME II and state subsidies).
However, after the recent announcement by the CEO of Ola Electric regarding the price hike coming to the S1 Pro, it is yet to be seen how much premium the flagship scooter of the company will charge.
