2015 Kawasaki Ninja 650 Price Slashed by Rs 40000

In an official communication Kawasaki has announced a price cut for the Ninja 650. Sadly though this slash is limited to the 2015 model year units only. The manufacturer claims that this reduced price offering has been brought to celebrate the 120th Anniversary of the Kawasaki brand. However, since it is limited to last year models, it appears to be a stock clearance exercise.

The Ninja 650 is powered by a 649 cc liquid cooled parallel twin mill capable of churning out 72.1 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 64 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The seat height is 805 mm while the kerb weight is limited to 211 kg. The sports tourer though misses out on ABS here in India.

Before the price cut, Kawasaki Ninja 650 was priced at Rs 5,37,420. After a slash of Rs 40,000, the new ex-showroom Delhi price is Rs 4,97,420. The new price is valid from August 1, 2016 and based on the clause of limiting it to 2015 models, we can expect this cut to remain only for a limited amount of time.
