I ordered this chain lube from Amazon few months back and have used it for a few thousand kilometers on my Dominar 400. Let me put a quick review of it…
COST – For a 500 ml pack you only pay around Rs 270-300. Whereas for Motul’s 400 ml C2 lube you have to shell out almost double (around Rs 500-550). This Kangaroo is one of the cheapest lubes I could find (which works).
Quality – Frankly, it is not as good as Motul but does its job. It is definitely better than the 3M chain lube I tried last time.
Mileage – It can clung onto your motorcycle’s chain for around 300-500 km depending on your usage. In monsoons you would require more frequent applications.
Verdict:
In one sentence – it is not Motul-good! But if you are looking for a cheaper solution, this is a nice alternative. It is available at almost half the price of Motul Chain Lube and in my cost-to-quality analysis I would say even if it is 70% as good as Motul’s C2, you end up saving eventually…
