At a digital event, TVS has officially announced the launch of its all-new Jupiter 125 in the Indian market. It joins the very popular Jupiter 110 in the portfolio and expands the brand.

TVS has comprehensively worked on the new scooter and it is a ground-up product. It gets an all-new 2-valve engine that focuses on city rideability and low and mid-range. It churns 8.3 PS of peak power at 6500 rpm and 10.5 Nm of max torque at 4500 rpm. And yes, TVS hasn’t carried it over from Ntorq.

The new entrant in the 125cc segment comes with a lot of very interesting features – some of them segment-leading. It has a massive 33 liter boot space which can accommodate two full face helmets. Due to this the fuel tank has been taken under the floorboard which, TVS says, offers better center of gravity.

Another segment exclusive is front fueling that will offer a lot of convenience. TVS also claims that the new Jupiter 125 gets the segment-longest seat for better comfort.

Moreover, the scoot comes with a metallic body (with a few parts made from plastic). There is an LED headlamp, LED DRLs, 3D emblems, diamond cut alloy wheels, etc. Another noteworthy feature is the gas-charged rear shock absorber that is also 3-step adjustable.
