Is This the First Leaked Pic of the Production Version CBR250RR?

In 2015, Honda showcased a Lightweight Supersport Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show. Rumoured to be a prototype for the CBR250RR, the concept version had the oomph and muscle to make any sports bike lover go weak in the knees. Well, a teaser image purported to be of the production version has been leaked online which has caught everyone’s attention.

The low resolution image showcases the motorcycle’s chiselled body and the tag ‘Lightweight Coming Soon‘ connects the pic with the bike. This quarter liter is rumoured to be launched later this year in Indonesia.

Loaded with features like upside down front forks, multiple riding modes and ride by wire, the new CBR250RR appears to have woken up the sleeping giant and frankly after a long time we see a remarkable design from Honda!

CBR250RR is also expected to have LED head lamps (and tail lamps), fully digital instrumentation console clip-on handlebars and ABS as standard. The wavy petal discs from the concept, however, seem to have been replaced with a more production friendly version.
