The Indians(!) are finally here. The legendary Indian Motorcycles are all ready to open up their first dealership in India on the 7th of May, in Gurgaon. The Indian Motorcycles, as you would remember had launched their products back in January this year in a gala ceremony in Delhi.
The Polaris owned company has launched three of its flagship motorcycles in India:
- Indian Chief Classic
- Indian Chief Vintage
- Indian Chieftain
Established in 1901, the Indian Motorcycles continued to win hearts till 1953 when they went bankrupt. The company was revived by Polaris Industries in 2011 and has been selling three motorcycle models capitalising on Indian’s traditional styling and brand name.
All three motorcycles are driven by the same Thunder Stroke 111 V-twin engine which produces 139Nm of torque. Apart from the motorcycles, the company also enlists a huge list of accessories, both for the motorcycle as well as the rider.
