BMW CE 04 is currently on sale in the Indian market at a sticker price of Rs 15.25 lakh, making it the most premium e-scooter in the country.
BMW Motorrad has globally unveiled the new CE 04 electric scooter with new paint schemes and additional equipment. The electric scooter remains unchanged in terms of styling and technical specs. It has been presented in three trims namely Basic, Avantgarde and Exclusive. The 2025 BMW CE 04 launch date in India has not been announced yet by the brand, but we expect it to go on sale during the festive season of Diwali (Sep-Oct) later this year. For reference, the ongoing model was introduced in July 2024 at a price point of Rs 15.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Starting with the entry-level Basic variant, it flaunts Lightwhite unibody colour with a dual-tone black-grey seat. As for the mid-spec Avantgarde trim, it is presented in Gravity blue metallic paint scheme with contrasting Sao Paulo yellow shade while the seat is finished in black/light grey with yellow and white tapes. It rides on a laser-engraved rear wheel rim along with a a yellow-tinted windshield.

The range-topping Exclusive grade gets Spacesilver metallic body colour with a massive windscreen, integrated hand protectors and heated grips. Identical to the Avantgarde variant, it too rides on a laser-engraved rear wheel rim on one side. Other notable design elements include heated seat, new fabric upholstery and CE 04 embroidery. Though premium features like bigger windscreen, knuckle guards and heated seat can also be availed with Basic and Avantgarde variants as an option.
Sitting on a tubular steel frame, the 2025 BMW CE 04 is offered with a plethora of striking optional features in the form of Centre stand, Anti-theft alarm, E-Call, Quick charger, Tyre pressure monitoring, and dynamic package which includes Headlight Pro, LED daytime running light, adaptive headlight, ABS Pro and DTC, additional dynamic riding mode.

The maxi electric scooter retains the 10.25-inch TFT coloured display with integrated map navigation and connectivity. The riding modes remain the same as well in the form of Eco, Rain and Road. It boasts of a 35 mm telescopic front fork and single-sided swing arm at the rear. The 2025 BMW CE 04 rides on 16-inch wheels at both the ends. The e-scooter is developed at BMW Group plant in Berlin while brought to India via the CBU route.
Powered by a 8.9 kWh battery pack, it has a range of 130 km on a single charge. The battery is paired with a powerful electric motor which generates max power of 41.5 bhp and peak torque of 62 Nm. The new CE 04 takes merely 2.6 secs in reaching the 50 kmph speed mark from standstill while clocking a top speed of 120 kmph. It can be fully charged in 4 hours and 20 minutes using a regular household socket. However, due to fast-charging compatibility, the 20-80 percent can be achieved in only 45 mins through a public charging station of 6.9 kW.
