DSK-Hyosung announced its Auto Expo plans a few days back. The Aquila GV250 Cruiser was one of them. Now, in an interesting scooping bit we have learnt that the Aquila 250 will cost Rs 3.06 Lakh on road in Pune.
The Aquila already has had a tryst with India. During Hyosung’s first entry into India with Kinetic, the bikes that were launched were the Aquila and the Comet. Currently, Hyosung dealers have begun accepting bookings for this cruiser and all you need is a Rs 25000 cheque (cash will also do) to secure yourself in the queue.
Launch of Aquila 250 will take place on the 6th of February at the Auto Expo which is when DSK Hyosung will also talk about more details on the other upcoming motorcycles from their stables – GD250N (which is coming in April) and RT 125D. Hyosung will be bringing the Aquila 250 in the CKD (completely knocked down units) route and hence the price revolves around the sports brethren GT250R.
Hyosung Aquila 250 Specifications:
- 250 cc, V-Twin Engine
- Oil-Cooled
- 27 PS of peak power and 20 Nm of torque
- 5-Speed gearbox
- 14 Litre fuel tank
Deliveries of the bike will start after the Auto Expo. Aquila will be another option for the Cruiser-starved junta in the Indian market. Apart from the usual Royal Enfields and the pricey Harley-Davidsons, this bike could make a sensible middle ground.
Who all are now headed towards the nearest Hyosung dealership?
And while we are at cruisers, Bajaj is also going to unleash its cruiser concept at the Expo, here are the details.
