Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 – Low Speeds in Each Gear [Video]

We try to take a quick look at the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 tractability with the new 398cc motor and how it performs at low speeds..

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 has recently made its debut in India and this is for the first time India is receiving it here. It is the new generation model that has come to our shores which means it gets bestowed by the underpinings of the new-gen 390 Duke. Which means it gets the latest chassis, many cycle parts and yes, the bigger 398cc single cylinder motor.

The older-gen Dukes were not very friendly when it came to low and mid range, however, with the increase in displacement, KTM has tried to sort this issue – to an extent. And as we saw with the Duke, tractability has definitely improved.

The Svartpilen 401 carries over the same tune and even the gearing has not been altered. So, how good (or bad) is the motorcycle at slow speeds? Here is a quick video showcasing the fairly comfortable low speeds possible in each gear…
