Has Honda teased the new Grazia? or is it something else? Let us quickly talk about all the info we have at this point…
Honda is about to launch a new 2-wheeler in the Indian market. It has also started teasing it and have released three teasers so far. Just after the first teaser few publications believed it to be a motorcycle – possibly the CB300X. However, based on careful observation, I was clear that it will be a scooter – footboard of which was pretty visible in the video.
In its latest teaser, Honda has revealed the instrument console of the scooter and that has a lot of resemblance with the Grazia. The sporty 125cc scooter from Honda hasn’t had the success the company expected. The console shows speedometer, tacho and the side stand indicator. There are tell-tale lights for engine malfunction, battery, eco-mode, start-stop and finally what appears to be the smart key light – a feature that has recently gone on to some scooters. Here are its main functions.
What has made it interesting is that exhaust note – which could simply be an amplification by the company. Now the chances are that Honda could offer this as an update of Grazia or it could be the Dio 125 or if Honda thinks it is time for the leader to lead – a 150cc scoot, or something else as well!
With this unknown product three teasers old, it should be unveiled/launched real soon.
That exhaust note has definitely created some kind of an interest in the upcoming 2-wheeler from Honda.
While the first teaser revealed the apron-mounted headlamp, the second teaser gave us a glimpse of the exhaust. The 3rd teaser shows the instrument cluster – and that again – belongs to a scooter. key
