While Honda’s CB Shine continues to be the most sold 125 cc motorcycle in India, the company has added one more feather to its cap when its ‘Dream’ series of motorcycles crossed the 10 Lakh sales mark in sales.
The company says that within a short span of 26 months its market share in the 100-110 cc segment has increased from the initial two per cent to the current eight per cent. Of all the motorcycle segments, where Honda is present, this entry level segment has proved to be the fastest growing one for the manufacturer with the winged logo.
Honda’s first motorcycle of the Dream series was the Dream Yuga released in 2012. The bike was well received and encouraged the manufacturer to add another 110cc motorcycle in 2013, the Dream Neo.
And they have recently added their third machine to its Dream lineup, the CD 100 Dream, and it is the cheapest Honda motorbike that you can buy at present in India. Mr. Yadvinder S. Guleria, VP, Sales & Marketing, further hoped the sales to pick-up with the company’s increased rural network along with the latest addition of the CD 100 Dream.
To share the joy of achieving the 10 Lakh mark with its customers, the company has announced a limited period offer as well. It is known as the “One Million Dream Celebration Offer” where customers can avail free insurance and attractive finance schemes of up to 100 per cent of the loan value. The offer can be had on purchase of any of the three Honda Dream series motorbikes.
