Honda CBR 650R Deliveries Commence

CBR650R deliveries commence from Honda’s first BigWing store in Gurugram…

Honda officially opened bookings of the CBR 650R in India back in February this year. They announced its prices late in April and within a few weeks they have commenced deliveries of the mid-sizer.

Supreet Khanna is the first owner of the motorcycle in North India as he received his Grand Prix Red CBR 2-3 days back. However, going by the tone of the conversation mass deliveries may commence in the days to come.

CBR 650R is the global replacement of the CBR 650F and the addition of ‘R’ has meant that the mid-sizer is sportier and packs in more punch. It continues to be powered by the same 649cc, DOHC, four cylinder engine and produces 93 bhp of power and 64 Nm of torque. Honda has also paid heed in making it six kilogram lighter than its older sibling.

This first delivery appears to have been made from Honda’s debut Big Wing store in Gurgaon.
