Does this hint at the possibility of Honda CBF190R Indian launch? We talk more about the motorcycle and its specs…
Now this is interesting! Honda sells a lot of interesting motorcycles on its 190 platform in China. They were, so far, limited to the Chinese market only, however, there is an interesting update on it with respect to India.
Honda has patented the design of the CBF 190R in India at the Indian Patents office. CBF 190R is the streetfighter model in the range and it is propelled by a 184.4 cc single cylinder fuel injected engine which is capable of producing 12.4 KW (ie 16.86 PS) of peak power at 8000 rpm and 16.3 Nm of max torque at 7000 rpm. The naked streetfighter motorcycle has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters and a claimed top speed of 107 kph.
Noticeable features include golden colored upside down front forks, digital instrument cluster, petal disc brakes, hazard light, ABS and jazzy styling.
The design patent in India was filed last year on 21 June 2019 and the Journal date is 06 March 2020.
It must be known that design patent filing in one country does not guarantee a motorcycle’s eventual launch in that domestic market but it does hint at its possibility – and the fact that the company may consider evaluating it either anytime soon or sometime later.
