After getting lukewarm response to its entry level motorcycles, and losing out in sales, Honda has plans to spread focus on premium, mid-size motorcycles in India. This is remarkable for our market as Honda, so far, was completely neglecting the 150-160cc+ segment.
Honda BigWing Dealerships
In order to announce their new focal point, Honda recently announced the introduction of Silver Wing which marked the debut of CB300R as well as CBR650R in our domestic market. Carrying the momentum forward, they have launched BigWing – which will be a set of new premium dealerships catering to high-end customers.
The first BigWing dealership has been opened in Gurgaon at ABW Tower, Iffco Chowk. These BigWing showrooms will house Honda’s premium motorcycle range which currently starts from CB300R and goes all the way upto the Goldwing. These dealerships will will have a sprawling sales and service area, and will offer personalised customer experience and after sales service which will be limited only for Honda’s big bikes.
