Honda Activa e features swappable battery technology with two 1.5 kWh battery packs delivering a range of 102 km on a full charge
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the price of the Activa e at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Being priced at Rs 1.17 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) for the base variant, it will be retailed in three cities in the first phase with deliveries starting first in Bengaluru from February 2025 and then in Delhi & Mumbai from April 2025 onwards. Honda Activa e RoadSync Duo variant will be available at an introductory price of Rs 1.52 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) in the Indian market.
Honda Activa e bookings started on Jan 1 at a token amount of Rs 1,000 in select cities across the country. It is offered in five paint shades namely Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Shallow Blue. Some of the prominent features on-board are a 7-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, Honda RoadSync Duo app and all-LED lighting.
The Activa e is presented with Honda’s swappable battery system, which has been developed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd. Japan. The portable battery pack is termed as Honda Mobile Power Pack e which is distributed and managed by Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt. Ltd. in our country. The e-scooter uses two 1.5 kWh battery packs to return a range of 102 km on a single charge. The batteries are connected to an in-house developed electric motor which generates top power of 8.04 bhp. It takes nearly 7.3 seconds to sprint from 0-60 kmph before topping out at 80 kmph.
Honda Activa e has also been introduced with the BaaS (Battery-as-a-Service) model, where customers can make monthly payments depending on their daily usage. The company is offering two BaaS plans for the riders. The first plan is for daily runs of 40 km at a price of Rs 1999/- per month while the second plan is for longer runs of around 100 km on a daily basis at Rs 3599/- per month.
Honda Activa e comes with a standard warranty of 3-year/50,000 km along with a complimentary Care Package which comprises of 3-free periodic maintenance services and free roadside assistance (RSA) for the first year and a 24×7 dedicated call centre facility. In addition, SaaS (Software as a Service) is provided free of cost for the first year with the RoadSync Duo variant under the complimentary Care Package.
Last but not the least, Honda Care Plus Package has also been launched for the Activa e at Rs 9,900 with nation-wide validity. This package offers a 5-year annual maintenance contract (AMC) for worry-free service, 5-year RSA, and 5-year warranty (3-year standard + 2-year extended). The customers also have the convenience of purchasing individual elements of this package as per their choice.
