Xtreme 200S latest price hike is not very significant but why has it come in a span of only two months since launch? Xpulse twins have not been touched…

It has hardly been two months when Hero officially launched the new full faired Xtreme 200S in India. It was a surprise announcement as we only knew about the Xpulse twins back then.

Xtreme 200S Latest Price

Xtreme 200SRs 99,400

Xtreme 200S was launched at a price tag of Rs 98,500 in May and within a couple of months, Hero has raised the prices by Rs 900. Not that this is a very big amount but the only question is – why don’t they pre-calculate and finalise prices factoring in the foreseeable six odd months at least! The other motorcycle in the range – Xtreme 200R has also seen a price revision of Rs 1000.

Hero is on a massive portfolio-revamping spree and intends to make a mark in the premium segment which they were neglecting so far. With a four-motorcycle assault, prospects do look positive and it will be interesting to see how things pan out in the months to come…
