The Xpulse 210 Rally, made for hardcore off-roading, is equipped with several Rally-specific elements which distinguish it from the stock bike
Hero MotoCorp held the world premiere of Xpulse 210 at the EICMA 2024 in Italy. It was launched in Jan 2025 at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in our country at a starting price of Rs 1.76 lakh (ex-showroom). Recently, the rally-spec version of the Xpulse 210 was unveiled by the Hero Factory Racing Team at the 38th Edition of Sjoba Rally event in Chandigarh. Hero Xpulse 210 Rally version comes loaded with multiple hardcore off-roading components which makes it different from the standard model.
It is being learnt that the Rally version showcased at the three-day long event was not production ready. It carries several elements that might not make it to the production-spec model such as the fully adjustable USD front suspension with fork covers and a new exhaust pipe which is positioned higher than the one on the regular motorcycle.

The Xpulse 210 Rally gets disc brakes at both ends, which appear much more advanced. Furthermore, the knuckle guards are beefier while the headlamp cluster and windshield are also new. The stock headlight has gone for a toss in favour of a smaller unit which has been fitted with LED projector lights. The instrument cluster has been axed from the Rally bike.
The hardware which will feature in the production-spec version includes Rally seat, fully adjustable suspension with long travel, handlebar risers and Maxxis tyres. All these elements make the Xpulse 210 Rally an exciting proposition. The price of the hardcore off-roader has not been announced yet, but we expect it to be on the higher side as compared to the standard model. Mechanically, it will house the same 210 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, albeit with more power and torque.

The home-grown automaker announced that Xpulse 210 deliveries will begin in March 2025. However, it seems unlikely as of now and could start a little late. Due to its unique price point, there is no direct rival of the Xpulse 210 in the Indian market. Though in near future, it could get some competition from the TVS Apache RTX 300.
Hero MotoCorp had recently introduced the Pro Dakar Edition of the Xpulse 200 in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 1.67 lakh (ex-showroom), it can be booked at a fully refundable amount of Rs 10,000 in our country. It gets three ABS modes namely Road, Off-Road and Rally. Ridin on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, it has a ground clearance of 270 mm.
