Hero price hike 2022 – We are yet to move to the new year but price increase announcements have come in already!
In the last 2-3 years it is seen that makers have gone berserk with price increments. But if you notice not all the time they announce it before the date.
However, new year increments are pre-announced and this has become a trend in the last few years. This has a specific purpose.
Buyers in the market generally push their purchases to new year and that makes December a relatively dry month. In order to give a boost to their sales, makers announce price increments from January onwards.
This pushes some fence-sitters to complete their purchases within December month itself. In fact, we have seen instances wherein new year hikes have not take place at all but their announcements were made in December.
Following the same strategy, Hero has announced a fresh price hike from the new year onwards. They say that the price revision will be upto Rs 2000 and will vary based on the models.

These price changes will take effect from Tuesday, the 4th of January 2022. The exact quantum of increase on all the models will be known only after this date.
Hero MotoCorp says that it is introducing these price revisions to partially offset the impact of steady increase in the commodity prices. These revised prices will affect their two-wheeler offerings which include Splendor, Passion, HF Deluxe, Glamour, Xtreme and Xpulse in motorcycles and Pleasure, Destini, Maestro in their scooters range.
