Hero Electric, which is the largest manufacturer of electric two-wheelers in India, has just announced that it will be offering a whopping five-year comprehensive warranty on its entire range of Lithium-Ion based electric two-wheelers in the country.
This is the best-in-class warranty offered in the industry, and is a limited period offer only. It will be applicable for all the purchases made between 1st January 2021 and 31st March, 2021. However, the company shares that it will look at making this a regular offering based on customer feedback.
A good thing to be noted is that this offer comes at no extra cost and hidden conditions to the customers. With this, the company is looking to further accelerate the shift to electric two wheelers.

Speaking on this occasion, the company’s CEO – Sohinder Gill said that the comprehensive warranty is a
‘confidence building measure that will eliminate the uncertainty about the trouble-free usage of Hero bikes as well as improve its resale value.
This certainly is a welcome move by the company, and would make Hero scooters great value for money, if the company ends up offering this as standard to all the customers.
