Hero Splendor Plus new Colour brings offerings to 6 colours in total… Nothing new added to the entry level bike…
In their bid to add some freshness into their offerings, Hero MotoCorp have added a new colour option to their msot selling Splendor Plus motorcycle. The new paint scheme is being called ‘Silver Nexus Blue’ by the company and has been officially added an option on their official website.
The new Silver Nexus Blue colour scheme takes the total colour options to 6 for the Hero Splendor Plus model. The other 5 colour options offered are – Black & Purple, Black & Sports Red, Heavy Grey & Green, Matte Shield Gold and Bllack & silver.
The most admired and most selling Splenfor Plus have received no other update other than the new colour option.

It is still powered by the staple 97.2 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces a modest 7.9 HP at 8,000 RPM and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6,000 RPM, linked to a 4-speed conventional gearbox. The Splendor Plus gets the company’s proprietary start-stop technology that claims improved fuel economy by atleast 9% per cent.
Recently, Hero added some safety features to this motorcycle – such as automatic engine cut-off in the event of a tip-over and combined braking system which engages front and rear brakes when one operated by the rider. Other features include a halogen headlight, amber coloured turn-indicators, halogen tail-light and digital instrumentation.
The Hero Splendor Plus sits squarely against the TVS Radeon, TVS Star City Plus, Bajaj Platina and Honda CD 110 Dream.
