Hero MotoCorp sales numbers are showing good numbers domestically… Exports struggled surprisingly for the company…
Hero Motocorp have revealed their sales numbers for April 2022.
The Domestic Sales see a positive growth compared to last year’s sales. Exports this time dropped significantly for the company.
The company has registered Gross Sales of 4,18,622 units sold in the month of April 2022, up by 12.45% compared to 3,72,285 units sold in April 2021.

Year-over-Year Sales
Motorcycles – The motorcycle sales expanded by 15.75%, growing from 3,39,329 units sold last year to 3,92,627 units sold in April 2022.
Scooters – The scooters didn’t fare well last month. Their sales contracted by 21.12%. The sales dropped from 32,956 units in April 2021 to 25,995 units in April 2022.
The Domestic Sales registered a growth of 16.31%, selling 3,98,490 units in April 2022.
The Exports, in contrast, were down by 32.15%, registering 29,671 units in April 2022.
Month-over-Month Sales
The monthly sales comparison didn’t fare well for Hero MotoCorp. Majority of categories are in the Red for April 2022.
Motorcycles – The motorcycle sales contracted by 7.77%, down from 4,25,721 units sold in March 2022.
Scooters – The scooter is the only category that grew by 6.39%, up from 24,433 units sold in April 2022.
The Domestic Sales were down, contracting by 4.15% MoM.
The Exports showed a negative trend as well. It decreased by a significant 42.36%, reducing from 34,930 units registered in March 2022.
The Total Sales MoM contracted by 7%.
