OFFICIAL: Harley Pan America ADV Coming to India in TWO Months

Harley Pan America India launch timeframe has been set for June 2021 according to a latest update from the company’s website…

Harley Davidson is operating in India under its distributorship agreement with Hero MotoCorp. This is an extremely new job for Hero but the company is extremely eager to go premium. How will it deal these super expensive motorcycles remains to be seen.

And the kickstart to Harley’s comeback could be in style – with what is the most important, all new motorcycle for the brand – the Pan America! The need to venture into newer segments and to ditch that image of a tall, lanky, heavy cruiser maker was felt by the brand since its average age of buyers was higher. And it could not tap into that younger buyer set. Pan America is a step in that very direction.

Pan America is Harley’s take on the Adventure Touring segment and frankly speaking, in this ocean of similar looking ADVs, the Pan America does stand out. It is definitely a different design and reports so far suggest that it packs in a lot of punch as well.

In terms of mechanicals, the Pan America is equipped with a 1252cc motor that is capable of producing 152 PS of peak power at 8750 rpm and 128 Nm of hefty torque at 6750 rpm. It comes with a 19-17 inch tyre combination and has 5 pre-programmed ride modes – Road, Sport, Rain, Off-Road and Off-Road Plus.
