Harley-Davidson has just added two more showrooms to its total number of outlets in India with the opening of Diamond City Harley-Davidson in Surat, and Tusker Harley-Davidson’s second dealership in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
While Tusker Harley-Davidson was among the first 5 dealerships to be opened in the country, Diamond City Harley-Davidson is the brand’s second location in the state of Gujarat, with the first being Nine Bridges Harley-Davidson in Ahmedabad which the company opened in 2012. Now, there are 17 authorized Harley-Davidson dealerships across India.
The launch of these dealerships is a part of Harley-Davidson India’s strategic expansion plans as the company completes five years in the country. It aims to continue growing its dealer network and partnerships across the country in the coming year with a focus on expanding its presence in Tier I cities and foraying into newer Tier II cities.
An enthusiastic Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson India, said that the company’s dealer network in India has grown rapidly over the past five years and has welcomed thousands of owners and enthusiasts across the country who seek to experience the Harley-Davidson lifestyle and culture.
The newest showrooms will offer the entire Harley-Davidson India line-up of 13 motorcycle models, which start from INR 4.3 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Also, in true Harley fashion, the owners will also be able to select from a wide range of Harley-Davidson parts and accessories to personalise their bikes. Both the showrooms will have the full range of Harley-Davidson apparel as well.
