These electric charging stations for home (and other commercial places) have capacities between 1 kW to 3 kW and are available for 2-3 wheelers…
goEgoNetwork are manufacturers of a range of ARAI certified EV charging stations for both commercial and domestic usage. They say that they understand that India’s acceptance and adoption of EVs is growing at a steady pace and they want to address the real-time challenge of providing spot charging solutions for all these Electric Vehicles (EVs).
And to aid them in this endeavor, goEgoNetwork have today launched two new charging stations which care called as Owl and Robin. These cater to the electric 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers. goEgo elaborates that these new charging stations will support their already existing Albatross charging stations.
The newly launched Owl charger is a 3-socket wall/pole mount AC charging station which allows Open Charge Point Control (OCPP) Connectivity putting out a charging capacity of 1.1 kW per outlet. It allows upto three vehicles to be charged at the same time.
Whereas, the Robin series of chargers are single-socket wall/pole mount AC charging stations with OCPP Connectivity. They have a higher charging output of 3kW. These can be installed for individual usage such as society parking or home parking areas.
Their existing Albatross charger is a 3.3 kW charging station with 3-sockets arrangement that can be used to charge up to 3 vehicles at the same time. They claim numerous housing societies in Maharashtra have already installed these Albatross chargers.
All of these chargers are manufactured at their manufacturing facility in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. goEgoNetwork claims their charging stations are built to charge the EV uninterruptedly while meeting the Indian specifications and conditions.
goEgo is targeting smaller private-public spaces like retail outlets, hotels & restaurants, housing societies, etc for their products.
Mr. Sayantan Chakraborti (CEO & Co-founder, goEgoNetwork) said that they have launched a fairly big range of charging stations within a short span of 6 months. They cater to the 2, 3 and 4 wheelers. He has also announced that very soon the company will become the first maker to introduce DC charging stations in India.
