Fascino 125 BS6 price is competitive and it also comes with many interesting features. That motor is more powerful now than the discontinued 113cc Fascino.
At an event in Chennai today, Yamaha surprised everyone by not only launching the bigger, 125cc Fascino but also discontinuing the existing 113cc Fascino from the market completely.
Instead of a carburetor, the Fascino 125 comes equipped with a fuel injector which helps it in achieving Bharat Stage VI compliance. This will be Yamaha’s entry into the 125cc segment which is becoming aggressive by the day.
Fascino FI comes with an air cooled, 125cc bluecore engine which produces 8.2 PS of peak power at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 9.7 Nm at 5000 rpm. This means that power is 30 percent higher than the outgoing model.
It also features “Stop & start” which shuts the engine after it notices a halt and powers it upon a throttle twist. This is helpful in city riding conditions and Yamaha claims that this helps the scooter achieve 16 percent higher fuel economy than the smaller version.
New Fascino has a reduced weigt of only 99 kilos, and it also comes with features like Smart motor generator, 12 inch front tyre, 110 mm fatter rear tyre along with a new design and body panels.

It has been priced from Rs 66,430 ex-showroom in Delhi which is lesser than Jupiter BS6 and Activa 125 BS6. It is offered in as many as seven colours – vivid red, metallic black, yellow cocktail, matte blue, dark matte blue, suave copper and cyan blue.
