Ducati Preparing a Smaller Multistrada 939 for EICMA!

Ducati at the EICMA might be gearing up for a new Multistrada. Yes, another one of those gorgeous machines which are capable of taking you through a wide range of surfaces. At present, the range just gets the bigger 1,200 cc DVT Testastretta mill. However, the new Multistrada can house the smaller 937 cc mill.

Doing duty in the Hypermotard 939, this L-twin mill churns out 109.8 bhp of maximum power and 97.9 Nm of peak torque. MoreBikes, who have shared uncamouflaged images of the bike, claim that the output will be increased to around 158 bhp. However, we do not believe that is happening, for then the output will be precariously close to the numbers popped out by the bigger Multistrada 1200.

The bike looks production ready so an unveil at next month’s Milan Motorcycle Show, popularly known as EICMA, is highly likely. Affordability has been kept in mind and the new Multistrada 939 will save costs with a double-sided swingarm. Features like cornering ABS, traction control can be expected to be retained.
