Ducati has commenced deliveries of its flagship superbike Panigale V4R in India. It has earmarked five units for the country and two have already been booked and handed over to the customers. Aakash Rajshakha and Kulwant Singh took deliveries of their motorcycles at the company’s New Delhi dealership (North Star Automotive).
Panigale V4R is the most powerful road legal production motorcycle that you can buy. It is WSBK category racing bike which is based on the platform of Ducati superbikes that are competing in this season. Ducati has changed the 1103 cc V4 engine with 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R which makes it compliant with the WSBK rules.

In terms of features the motorcycle is equipped with MotoGP-grade wing elements on the fairing, race-grade Ohlins suspension, aluminium swing arm with adjustable four-position axle, electronic controls taken from Panigale V4S etc.

Price of Panigale V4R is Rs 51,80,000 ex-showroom and bookings for the remaining three units are open at all Ducati’s showrooms in Kolkata, Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Delhi.
