Ducati is all set to launch a new adventure bike by the moniker Desert X. The Italian has also teased the first look of the upcoming ADV.
Ducati has plans to drop five more bikes in the upcoming weeks going until early December which is the month when Desert X will go public.
Back in 2019, Ducati introduced Desert X as a concept machine though the upcoming production model has gone through fair bit of tweaks. Talking about the design, Desert X sports two circular headlights at the front.
The bike will borrow the same frame as the Multistrada 950 which is made of alloy and steel. The idea is to make the Desert X off-road ready.
Also, we can expect the Desert X to be equipped with a 21-inches tyre at the front wheel and 18-inch wheels at the rear.
The ADV will use the 937cc water-cooled Testastretta motor that you can find on the other Ducati bikes such as Supersport 950, Monster, Hypermotard 950, and the Multistrada 950.
Expect the motor to churn around 110 bhp of power and 70 Nm of peak torque. The Desert X will likely rival the Honda Africa Twin in the premium ADV segment.
