Diwali 2025: Royal Enfield Sales Touch 2.49 Lakh Units in Sep-Oct

Royal Enfield registered its highest-ever sales in the months of September and October during this Diwali festive season in India

Royal Enfield has clocked record sales numbers in the festive season of Diwali this year in the Indian market. The company sales touched an all-time high of 2.49 lakh units in the months of Sep-Oct 2025. Last month, it was able to retail a total of 1,24,951 motorcycles as compared to 1,10,574 units in Oct 2024. RE sold 1,16,844 units in the domestic market in Oct 2025 against 1,01,886 units during the same month last year. The exports though declined marginally by 7 percent from 8,688 in Oct 2024 to 8,107 in Oct 2025.

While total sales in Oct 2025 showed a YoY growth by 13 percent, the domestic sales in particular witnessed a YoY rise by 15 percent. The smaller motorcycle portfolio of the brand, comprising of models such as Classic 350, Bullet 350, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350, was in huge demand due to the reduction in price as a result of the revised GST rates.

Speaking about the performance for October 2025, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield, said, “This festive period has been truly special for all of us at Royal Enfield, as the festive spirit translated into an overwhelming response from customers across the country. With over 2.49 lakh motorcycles sold during the festive months of September and October, our best-ever festive performance, we have achieved a milestone that speaks volumes about our momentum and the unwavering love riders have for the brand.”

Recently, Royal Enfield had reduced the prices of its 350cc motorcycles due to the cut in GST by the Union Government. While the Hunter 350 prices went down by up to Rs 15k, the Goan Classic 350 became cheaper by up to Rs 20k. Two of the company’s most popular models namely Classic 350 and Bullet 350 became more economical by up to Rs 19k and Rs 18k, respectively.

“From refreshed favourites like the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350 to timeless icons like the Bullet and Classic, our motorcycles continue to inspire and bring riders closer to the joy of motorcycling.
