Digital Air Pressure Measuring Device From Harley Davidson!

This might come as a surprise to some people just as it came to me but apparently it is indeed true. The American iconic motorcycle maker Harley Davidson, known for its big fat machines is all set to manufacture and offer to its customers a state-of-the-art digital air pump for touring bikes. But mind you, since it comes from Harley Davidson, it is no ordinary air pump, named as Digital Touring Suspension Air Pump (P/N 54000033), it is an accurate and convenient piece of equipment used to check and alter pressure in the rear air shocks on all H-D Touring motorcycles.

It is in fact THE-ONLY such digital air pump measuring instrument in the market. It has a bleed valve that allows for a precise adjustment of the air pressure with a ‘no loss’ connector which maintains shock pressure when the fitting is removed. To improve your grip while adding air to shocks and prevent any accident slippage, the pump also incorporates a pivoting pump handle. Although, primarily used to measure and fill air into shocks, being an air pump at the end, it can also be used to measure air pressure of the tires. The reading is shown in 2 units- PSI and kPa and can be toggled as you like.

The air pressure is indicated via a LCD screen powered by a replaceable lithium coin-type battery. Currently Harley Davidson plans to sell this device only in the US markets but we seriously hope the company brings such a device to the Indian market too. It will definitely be a very handy tool for the Harley Davidson owners. In the US, this pump will cost about $69.95.
