Ignitron Motocorp stepped into the electric two-wheeler segment in December of last year and unveiled their brand ‘Cyborg’ and promised that they are going to launch three electric vehicles under this banner.
Over the next two months, they fulfilled their promise by launching three electric motorcycles – the electric cruiser Yoda, the electric dirt bike-looalike Bob-e and electric sportsbike GT 120.
And today, they have finally revealed the prices of all the three offerings.
Cyborg Motorcycle Prices
|Cyborg Models||Price (ex-showroom)|
|GT 120||Rs. 1,64,999/-|
The Subsidies offered by various states will make the Cyborg range of electric motorcycles more affordable and appealing for prospective customers.
A closer look at how all the three offerings from Cyborg differ –
Among the three electric bikes, the newly introduced GT 120 has the largest battery capacity but is not removable as it is weather-proof and heavier compared to other two models. All the three models share the same battery type and have similar nominal voltage values.
|Capacity||4.68 kWh||2.88 kWh||3.24 kWh|
The GT 120 is specifically developed to be a sportsbike and the claimed performance numbers support it as well. The GT120 has the highest top speed among the three by nearly 40 km/h. However, having the same battery and motor combination, the peak motor power of GT 120 is lower than the other two electric bikes by 2.5 kWh.
|Peak Motor Power||6 kW||8.5 kW||8.5 kW|
|Top Speed||125 km/h||85 km/h||90 km/h|
|Motor Type||BLDC Hub Motor||BLDC Hub Motor||BLDC Hub Motor|
The Cyborg Yoda and Bob-e have similar battery and motor combination along with similar characteristics and differ from the higher performing GT 120. Yet, the charging times of all three siblings are absolutely the same.

|0 – 80%||3 hours||3 hours||3 hours|
|0 – 100%||4 – 5 hours||4 – 5 hours||4 – 5 hours|
Since the Cyborg Yoda has cruiser dynamics, it is longer than other two bikes and has a longer wheelbase. It is, however, the shortest of the three offerings. Additionally, the Yoda has the lowest Ground Clearance by nearly 63 mm.
|Length||2040 mm||1800 mm||2250 mm|
|Width||780 mm||780 mm||780 mm|
|Height||970 mm||970 mm||820 mm|
|Wheelbase||1240 mm||1240 mm||1505 mm|
|Ground Clearance||260 mm||260 mm||197 mm|

|Combined Braking System (CBS)||Yes||Yes||Yes|
|Brake Type (front)||Disc||Disc||Disc|
|Water & Dust Resistance||IP 65||IP 65||IP 65|
All the three electric motorcycles get similar 5-year warranty for the battery and overall vehicle coverage. Yet, the GT 120, being a higher performance machine with higher wear and tear to the motor, it receives the maximum warranty coverage of 5-years for its motor.
|Motor||5 years||3 years||3 years|
|Battery||5 years||5 years||5 years|
|Vehicle||5 years||5 years||5 years|
