CB300R bookings are underway but Honda informs that they are completely booked for the coming three months and this is within 25 days of commencement of bookings…
First unveiled at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, CB 300R is Honda’s second motorcycle based on the Neo Sports Cafe family. The other one is the recently introduced new CB1000R. The 300cc CB is the lone all-new model that Honda had promised for this financial year.
CB300R Bookings
Honda first announced the model in mid-January this year which also marked the commencement of bookings of the motorcycle. And while revealing the price, Honda shared that they have received a very good response. And they are booked for the next three months ‘from their initial production plan‘! Here is the launch article.
Now it must be known that CB300R is NOT a fully locally produced model like the Duke 390. Honda is following the CKD (completely knocked down) route – which means they are bringing it here in parts from some country (not revealed), assembling it here and then retailing it; also incurring higher taxes (than local production).
However, Honda did not reveal two things – one – how many bookings have they received so far and two – how many units do they plan to import/produce/assemble.
