TVS has launched the BS4 variants of its 100 cc motorcycles. Currently, it sells Victor, Sport and Star City Plus in this range.
Victor BS4
The new Victor gets power from 109.7 cc 3 valve engine which is capable of producing 9.6 PS of power at 8000 rpm and 9.4 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. It is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and TVS claims a fuel efficiency of 76 kmpl under standard conditions. The 2017 edition of the motorcycle comes in two variants – Disc brakes + DRLs (daytime running lights) and Drum brakes + AHO (automatic headlight on).

It is available in six colour options – Red, Blue, Black, Silver, Grey and Black/Red.
Star City+ BS4
The 2017 Star City+ is also powered by the same engine albeit in a lower state of tune. It produces 8.4 PS of peak power at 7000 rpm and 8.7 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. TVS claims a fuel efficiency of 86 kmpl under standard conditions. It gets BS4 compliant and comes with the mandatory AHO feature.

This is a price increment of about Rs 690 over the older variant. They have not shared the prices of the other variants (electric start/gold).
Sport BS4
The 2017 Sport continues to be powered by a smaller 99.77 cc engine capable of producing 7.8 PS of power at 7500 rpm and 7.8 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. TVS offers an extended warranty of 5 years on the motorcycle and claims a fuel efficiency of 95 kmpl (internally tested by the company). Apart from BS4 compliance it also comes with AHO and is offered in these colours – Black Red, Volcano Red, Black Silver, White Red, White Blue and Mercury Grey.
