BREAKING: Bigger Xpulse 300 Spotted Testing First Time

Hero Xpulse 300 (imaginative name for now) was showcased as a prototype back in 2020 by the company. This is the first ever sighting of the upcoming ADV…

At the Hero World 2020 event, Hero MotoCorp surprised everyone by showcasing what looked like an outrageous Adventure motorcycle project for the company. It was kept under partial wraps and without any body parts.

Hero did not reveal the exact displacement of the motorcycle but it is believed to be a near 300cc mill – the right size for the company to graduate to – after the 200 platform. And almost two years after the official showcase, we have the first ever spy pics of probably the same bike – which we are referring to as Xpulse 300 (obviously without any concrete evidence).

Though the source of these screengrabs claim otherwise, this appears to be the same model. We have seen Hero use this pattern of camouflage (recently on an upcoming scooter). And finally, the red colored frame and engine cover resemble the unfinished prototype Hero displayed.

From the pics we see that the test mule is running on upside down front forks, spoke wheels, petal discs and that front-rear tyre combination of probably 19-17 inches. Unlike the Xpulse 200, there is a semi-fairing along with a beak – the trademark of popular ADVs. The step-up seat has a luggage carrier and the motorcycle is running on a box-type swingarm.

Here is the concept Hero showcased in 2020

Based on the information that was revealed by the company, this motorcycle will be the biggest and the most powerful Hero product and will come with liquid cooling and Trellis frame – all firsts for the company.

LEAKED: Upcoming 2022 Xpulse 200T

This mule was captured somewhere near or around Ladakh which means Hero is comprehensively testing it out on treacherous terrains and we hope to get as sorted a product as the Xpulse 200 already is. We aren’t sure how far is this motorcycle from production but this is a BIG development – both for the company as well as us – the bikers!

Now that we are sure that such a product is under development, what should be the ideal power and torque figures for this mid-sizer…?
