Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle launch date has been revealed by Rajiv Bajaj in an interview. He has also shared some more details on the development…
The Triumph-Bajaj joint venture has immense potential and clearly it has crossed multiple deadlines of introduction. However, it appears we are now closest to the product. In an interview to CNBC TV18, Rajiv Bajaj has spilled some latest details on the product, including the launch date.
Rajiv specifically says that the first co-developed motorcycle will debut on the 27th June at an event which will be handled by Triumph in London. It must be noted that the co-developed motorcycles will be sold under the Triumph moniker all over the world, if the plan has not changed yet.
He also cleared that after the debut, the product will be available in the market from second quarter of this financial year ie between July to August this year. Additionally, he added that multiple products are under development and more than one product will be launched in the second quarter of the year.
This is an official confirmation that the first products are almost ready and raring to hit the markets. As we have seen in the spy pics, one of the motorcycle appears to be a near scrambler design whereas the other one could be a more roadster-centric motorcycle.
Let me also take you to the official statement from the joint press conference way back in 2017 or 2018, when it was shared that the first product will be priced at under Rs 2 Lakh! Will it hold true…? What do you think…?
