Bajaj’s New Dominar Ad Teases Royal Enfield, Yet Again

Bajaj-Royal Enfield Rivalry is taking new heights…

After settling down with the product, Bajaj is now getting very aggressive with the promotions of its first product in the Dominar range. Basically, we are still of the opinion that Dominar 400 should have been a Pulsar but now that Bajaj has taken that route they will have to penetrate the brand name as deep into the market as possible.

After launching a direct attack on Royal Enfield with the “Haathi Mat Paalo” ad, Bajaj has introduced a new commercial which, for some reason, compares the speed of Dominar 400 with the typing speed on social media. However, as expected, there is direct jibe at Royal Enfield, yet again.

Towards the end of the ad, the anchor says “Size, without performance, is just not good enough” relating to the mammoth weight of Royal Enfields and their relatively meek performance. They have also cleared that there will be more such videos. Here is the Episode 1 of the series…

It is now established that Bajaj will keep squaring up against RE’s biggest shortcoming – its lack of performance/technology.
