Biggest Pulsar (Possibly NS400) Launch Date Revealed…?

Pulsar NS400 launch date has been revealed by a prominent news channel crediting its sources. Is the biggie coming this soon…?

So, we have had a lot of discussion on the upcoming Pulsar – which has been confirmed to be the biggest-ever by Rajiv Bajaj himself. Though there is no concrete evidence yet but there are big hints that it will be the NS400 ie a streetfighter, most probably based on the Dominar 400 platform – and hopefully with a much smaller wheelbase.

There have been multiple, some confusing, reports on the launch timeframe of the motorcycle, however, a snippet at CNBC TV18 claims that the biggest Pulsar could be launched on 3rd May in India – ie in less than one and a half months from now. The portal credits this date to its sources close to the company.

Well, this should send down big positive feelers for Pulsar fans as this brings back the 2016-17 times when the Dominar 400 was introduced, at shocking starting prices of Rs 1.36 Lac! The sports cruiser, which is Bajaj’s biggest currently, now obviously has risen to around Rs 2.30 Lac levels.

Pulsar ns400 launch date
The biggest Pulsar is expected to be a streetfighter – and be labeled as the NS400..

According to what I can sense, the upcoming Pulsar should definitely be placed under the Dom. I will try to do an estimation of the expected price closer to the launch, when we will have more details of the motorcycle.

Third Triumph 400 Motorcycle Coming This Year, Reveals Rajiv Bajaj

If it is the Pulsar NS400, then it will be interesting to see what engine will the motorcycle carry. Bajaj has the option of using the same 373cc motor that it has already Bajaj-ified on the Dom. However, it must be noted that KTM has moved to a bigger version of this motor – 398cc – and will Bajaj get that or not remains to be seen.

With a date in hand now and plenty of speculation surrounding the much-talked about motorcycle – from what could be called as probably the most popular sports motorcycle brand in India – we are keeping our fingers crossed, and hope to see a real revelation from the Pune based maker – and again at real luring price tags…
