Woahh…. this came out of nowhere! Bajaj has surprised everyone by announcing the launch of an all new motorcycle in the 125cc segment – Pulsar NS125. With the introduction of the Pulsar brand in the 125cc segment, Bajaj has seen a lot of traction here. This has pushed the company to widen its portfolio and offer its sportiest offering to bikers.
The Pulsar NS125 becomes the smallest NS model after Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200. It is powered by a 124.45cc, SOHC, 2-valve, air cooled, DTSi engine that is capable of producing 8.82 KW (12 PS) of peak power at 8500 rpm and 11 Nm of max torque at 7000 rpm. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
If we keep aside the KTMs, the NS becomes the most powerful motorcycle in this segment and has a power to weight ratio of 83.3 PS/Ton (it weighs 144 kg kerb).
Key features include perimeter frame, Nitrox mono-shock absorber at the rear, wolf eyed headlamp, sporty split grab rail, belly pan, etc.

This makes it significantly costlier than the Pulsar 125 (priced around Rs 73,000-76,000 levels) but it, still is, cheaper than Pulsar 150 (which costs Rs 95,872).

The Pulsar NS125 is offered in four sporty color shades – Pewter Grey, Fiery Orange, Burnt Red and Beach Blue. Mr Sarang Kanade, President – Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto says the Pulsar 125 has been received very well by the consumers and the company is confident that the Pulsar NS125 will further strengthen its position in the very competitive entry sport bike segment.
