Pulsar NS200 & NS160 Emerge Fastest Motorcycles in Drag Races

In a press note shared by Bajaj, both these models were pitted against their competitors in a race that was titled ‘The Ultimate Drag Race’, which was held on a 400 meter tarmac strip. All the bikes were ridden by professional riders with proper safety gear. However, Bajaj has not informed who conducted these races.

In the 160cc class, the Pulsar NS160 was pitted against five of its rivals that were lined up on the drag strip. Bajaj Pulsar NS160 turned out to be the fastest motorcycle in this segment and finished this 400 meter drag race in 19.63 seconds.

In the 200cc class, the Pulsar NS200 raced against three motorcycles in this drag race. It also came out victorious, however, its timings have not been mentioned. All the motorcycles in the races were latest Bharat Stage 6 compliant versions.

The Pulsar NS160 produces 17.2 PS of peak power at 9000 rpm and 14.6 Nm of max torque at 7250 rpm from its 160.3 cc engine. Its elder sibling is good for a max power of 24.5 PS at 9750 rpm and peak torque of 18.5 Nm at 8000 rpm.
