Bajaj’s new Avenger range has been a great success story for them. Introduced almost 10 months back, the range is frequently recording more than 12,000 units a month as against the 3,000+ numbers it used to record in the older avatar. To spice up things a bit for the end consumer, Bajaj has introduced two new colour options, this time to the Street range.
While earlier they introduced a Desert Gold colour option in the Avenger 220 Cruise, this time new options have been brought in the Street line up. A new Cosmic Red paint option for the Avenger Street 150 which had been previously available only in Midnight Blue. While the Matte Black Street 220 gets company with new Matte Wild Green paint scheme.
Mechanically the motorcycles remain the same. Powering the Avenger Street 150 is an air cooled mill producing 14.54 PS of power and 12.5 Nm of torque. The Street 220 continues with the older generation oil cooled mill with its output pegged at 19.03 PS of maximum power and 17.5 Nm of peak torque.
Pricing for the two motorcycles also remains unchanged for the new colour schemes. The Street 150 can be yours for Rs 75,500 while the Street 220 will cost you Rs 85,497 ( both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
