Avenis standard variant will come devoid of the Ride Connect feature but it will continue to have disc brake and alloy wheels…
Moments back Suzuki has announced the official launch of its sporty scooter Avenis in the Indian market (price and details). Avenis is placed right between the Access and Burgman Street targeting the younger crowd who prefer sporty scooters.
Apart from its looks, Suzuki is harping on the Ride Connect feature of the scooter that it has announced today. However, like the other models in the portfolio, Avenis will also get a standard variant that will come devoid of the Ride Connect feature.
That means it will miss Smartphone pairability and will get a conventional instrument cluster. This variant is listed on the website and comes with disc brake and alloys as standard and just misses on a sticker on the side.
It is listed in all the four colors of grey, red, white and black. The premium Race Edition will continue as the highest trim with Ride Connect feature as standard.
The Avenis with Race Connect has been priced at Rs 86,700 and we expect the standard variant to cost about Rs 3000-4000 lesser.
Suzuki has announced that it will commence retail sales of Avenis from mid-December onwards. It will be interesting to see how will Avenis help the company in increasing the already impressive sales in the 125cc scooter segment…
