Aprilia has ventured in the entry level maxi-scooter segment in India with its all new SXR160. The SXR is a handsome looking flagship scooter from the Italian brand.
The SXR160 is powered by the 160.03cc, 3-valve, fuel injected engine that produces 10.9 PS of peak power at 7600 rpm and 11.6 Nm of max torque at 6000 rpm. The scooter is offered with a single channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) which performs duty on 12 inch wheels at both ends.
The SXR is offered with what Aprilia calls ‘Crossmax’ design and has a motorcycle-like dual split headlamp design. The lighting is LED powered with LED eyeline position lamps. The Italian-designed scoot will be manufactured at Piaggio’s Baramati plant.
